"After listening to Dave's informative speech in blogs and how they can be of use to your business and website, suddenly the mist cleared for me. since then I have been able to understand the jargon that our web designer has thrown at me and have managed to develop our site and improved our website ratings at the same time. I always thought that this sort of thing was for those in the know and was best left to the techies, but no, how wrong I was, us mere mortals can join in too!"

Web Site Traffic Analysis
You have an excellent brand, fantastic product and great looking web site.
What! You don’t know how many visitors access your site, what pages they view, whether they have problems at the checkout or enquiry page?
You are not alone; many of our clients come to us after having a web site for a number of years, but not even knowing whether anyone has even looked at their site. This is often down to not understanding what is available and to be honest, in many cases, the web design company should have advised their client on what is available in terms of statistics.

Google Analytics is a statistics package that provides some fantastic statistical information, that helps enormously with search engine marketing, product selection, keyword analysis etc. What’s more it’s free!
All that is needed is to add some code to each page of your web site, setup some ‘goals’ and away we go. See below for some of the statistics that are generated by Google Analytics.
Analytics Dashboard Report
Traffic Sources Report
Keywords Report
We of course use other advanced analysis tools and packages, but from a business viewpoint, Google Analytics is a great tool.
What does all this mean?
Better return on investment, pure and simple.
Would you run other parts of your organisation without detailed financial information? Then why risk your online venture by not receiving and analysing detailed information from the web site?
Proven Results
Results can be fantastic. For one particular client, we added some code to their web site that recorded information on what visitors were searching for in their product catalogue. We found that a product they didn’t stock was constantly being searched for on their site. We reported back, they stocked the product and got it into their catalogue and they sold the initial stock in a matter of days!
